Well Water Decisions is an independent educational publication at WellWaterDecisions.com, published by Zafar Iqbal. This notice explains the information handled when you use the website, its current calculators and its public contact route.
Calculator entries stay in your browser
The flow calculator and backwash checker calculate from the values you enter on your device. Their code does not send those entries to our server, create a server-side calculation history or upload a laboratory report. We do not offer a public laboratory-report upload service.
Entries remain in the page while you use it. If you print a worksheet or download a result, the resulting record is handled by your device, browser, printer or storage service. You decide where to save it and whom to share it with. Website requests still create ordinary delivery and security records, even when the calculator inputs stay local.
Website delivery, security and administration
Our hosting and delivery services process technical information needed to serve and protect the website. This can include an IP address, requested URL, request time, browser or device information, referring page and response or error information. We use these records for delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and security.
Hostinger supplies the website’s hosting and delivery infrastructure. Authorized website administration services support publishing and maintenance and may process stored site content or operational records needed for that work. Access is limited to the administrative purpose; the calculators do not place their entries in those records.
Messages and comments
Email the publisher at contact@wellwaterdecisions.com. You can also use Zafar Iqbal’s LinkedIn profile. When you email us, we receive your email address, the message, any name or attachments you supply, and ordinary email-delivery information. Our email service provider handles that correspondence to deliver and store it. If you use LinkedIn, we receive the message and the contact or profile information you choose to share; LinkedIn also processes the interaction under its own policy. We use enquiries to respond, investigate corrections or privacy requests, and maintain relevant correspondence.
Commenting is enabled in WordPress for the current field guides. If you submit a comment through a feature that accepts it, WordPress can store the comment, submitted name, email address, website address if supplied, IP address and browser information for publication, moderation and abuse prevention. An approved comment and display name may be public; the submitted email address is not part of the public comment.
Please share only what is needed. Avoid including full laboratory reports, precise well coordinates, home addresses, health information, passwords or payment details in comments or a first enquiry.
Cookies, analytics and external links
The current public homepage and calculators have no advertising pixels or third-party visitor-analytics scripts. We use Google Search Console to review search-performance information supplied by Google; its ownership-verification tag is not a calculator-input collector.
WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in and site preferences. A supported comment interface may offer a cookie choice to remember submitted contact fields. Hosting, caching or security features may use operational cookies when needed. You can inspect, block or clear cookies using your browser; blocking them can affect sign-in or other functions.
Links to LinkedIn, manufacturers, laboratories, references and merchants lead to independent websites. Following a link makes a request to that service, which may process technical information and cookies under its own policies. Where an affiliate link is introduced, the merchant or network may also use attribution technology; the relevant commercial link will be disclosed.
Use and sharing of information
We use information for operating and securing the site, responding to enquiries, maintaining correspondence and moderating submitted material. We do not sell visitor personal information or use calculator entries for advertising.
Information may be handled by hosting, security, email and administration providers for those purposes, or disclosed when required by law or needed to protect legal rights and site security. Approved public comments and published material can be accessed by readers and search engines. Provider processing locations may differ from your location.
Retention and your choices
We do not retain a server-side calculator history. Correspondence is retained while a request is being handled and for relevant follow-up or necessary legal records. Comments and their moderation records may remain until removed. Technical logs and backups follow the applicable hosting, security and backup settings and the operational or legal need for the record.
You can ask the publisher about information relating to you, request access or correction, or request deletion by emailing contact@wellwaterdecisions.com. You may also contact us through Zafar Iqbal’s LinkedIn profile. Please identify the relevant page, comment or correspondence without sending excessive personal information. We may need to confirm your connection to a record before responding. Applicable privacy law may provide additional rights, including objection or restriction; some records may need to be retained for security, legal obligations or legitimate recordkeeping.
For information held independently by LinkedIn or another external service, use that service’s privacy controls and contact process. You can also raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority where applicable.
Children and policy changes
The publication is intended for adult property owners and professionals. We do not seek personal information from children. Contact the publisher if a child has supplied personal information that should be removed.
We will update this notice when the site’s data handling changes and show the revised effective date. New analytics, forms, embedded services or commercial technologies will need a corresponding notice and any applicable choices before use.
